The President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, visits the DRAWINGS OF EUROPEAN MASTERS exhibition, which includes around 100 drawings produced by recognized Italian and Portuguese masters. Curated by Nicholas Turner, one of the most prestigious international experts in the field of drawing, the exhibition includes works classified as National Treasures and features the only example of Leonardo da Vinci existing in the country, belonging to the collection of the Museum of the Faculty of Fine Arts from the University of Porto, as well as studies and preparatory and visionary sketches by António Domingos Sequeira, most of them from the MNSR collection.
During the visit, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa recognized the importance of this Museum in the cultural agenda of the city and the country.
