The MNSR today welcomed a delegation of patrons from the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET), New York. This visit is in line with the new strategic positioning of the Museum’s internationalization defined by the current Board of Directors, of establishing new partnerships and enhancing the Museum’s external action.
The delegation led by Maxwell K. Hearn, Director of the Department of Oriental Art at the MET, came into contact with the history and collections of the MNSR. They were also introduced to the concept and process of long-term exhibitions. Maxwell K. Hearn recognized that the MNSR’s museum and museum program is in line with the work developed at the MET and with international trends.
