The Director of MNSR, António Ponte, Pedro Canavarro, Cristina Castel Branco, Mitsutake Ikeda and the publisher Palimage promote the launch of Watanuki Hirosuke’s book RIGHT NOW, RETREAT FROM CATAVENTO. The publication recalls the life and work of the Japanese master, who came to Portugal in 1956 and dedicated part of his drawings to Portuguese landscapes. His assets are found in private collections and in national museums such as the MNSR.
